Natural Beekeeping Course for Beginners

Perm-apiculture (the Bee Group), a special interest group of Permaculture Melbourne, offers a beekeeping training course to equip beginners with sufficient knowledge to start natural beekeeping. Natural Beekeeping sees the well-being of the bees as no less important than the honey yield. It is simple and low-cost – perfectly suited for small-scale backyard beekeeping. Each day of this two-day course has four one-hour information sessions, hands-on segments, and a Q&A session. Morning and afternoon teas provided; BYO lunch. Cost: $200 for Permaculture Melbourne members / $250 non-members. Location: Mitcham (eastern suburbs of Melbourne).
