The Bee Group (or  Perm-apiculture) was formed in January 2011 to support those interested in learning more about keeping bees and developing and promoting natural and ethical beekeeping.

We’re a keen bunch of people based in Melbourne and its surrounds who are interested in natural beekeeping with a permaculture perspective. We have members ranging in experience from just starting out to people who have been enthusiastically keeping bees for many years.

We’re keen to swap ideas, learn from each other and to promote bee-friendly, natural beekeeping.

Areas covered: Victoria, but residents of Melbourne will gain most benefit as there are monthly meetings in Kew – free to Permaculture Victoria members.
